More Than a Green Wall: Why Trees Deserve Relationship, Not Just Installation

The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the Eyes of others only a Green thing that stands in the way.
— William Blake

At PrivacyTrees, we have some crazy ideas, like the fact that we think trees are living beings worthy of care, attention, and relationship.

A privacy tree can block a view. It can soften a property line. It can create distance between your home and the noise of the world. But that’s only the beginning.

A tree is doing so much without even trying and without you ever knowing. Right now trees across the globe are breathing with the land. They are quieting exhaling the very oxygen we breath in and take for granted. In short, they’re making our existence possible. But they’re also cooling air. Offering shade. Sheltering birds and insects. They’re even holding the soil together.

It changes the sound, scent, and feeling of a place. It marks time through new growth, storms, drought, recovery, and seasonal change.

A living privacy wall is not just something you install. It is something you grow a relationship with.
